New Features
Custom Excel Export
A fully rebuilt Excel export now reconstructs the pivot table's cross-tab layout directly — matching exactly what is shown on screen, including your row and column hierarchy groupings and all visible measures. Subtotals and Grand Total rows are included and marked in bold. Previously the export relied on Flexmonster's internal rendering which could produce inconsistent results for certain hierarchy and measure configurations.
Per-Measure Lock Column Assignment
Each measure in your report can now be individually configured to use a specific lock column (or none at all). A "Lock measure" dropdown appears in the Cell locks formatting pane for every bound measure, replacing the older all-or-nothing approach. Reports configured before this version continue to work unchanged; existing lock column assignments are automatically migrated on first load.
A "Writeback column name" field is also available per lock column, letting you override the database column name used when writing lock state back without renaming the field in your data model.
Bug Fixes
  • Shadow calculations in batch-row mode:
    Calculated fields (shadow calculations) whose output targets overlapped with other pending edits could retain stale delta values when saving in batch-row mode. This is now resolved — all calculation output targets are included in the delta merge on save.
  • Exclude Zeros with multiple measures:
    When "Exclude Zeros" was enabled and an entry had one measure edited to a delta of zero, that edit entry could be incorrectly dropped even if other measures on the same row still had non-zero delta values in the same entry (like when using Shadow calculations). The check now considers all measures before dropping an entry.
  • Delta merge with multiple pending edits per row:
    When multiple pending edits existed for the same data row (e.g., after several unsaved changes), the delta merge in batch processing could apply an incorrect base value for later edits. This is now fixed.
  • Checkbox rendering:
    In certain configurations, boolean/checkbox cells could render with a
    checked="null"
    HTML attribute — which HTML treats as truthy — causing checkboxes to appear checked regardless of their actual value. Fixed to emit an empty attribute string instead.
  • Comment input type in mixed-type rows:
    In rows where a measure can be either numeric or text, comment input fields could incorrectly receive a
    type="number"
    or
    type="checkbox"
    attribute, breaking text entry. The input type is now always forced to
    text
    for comment fields.

Deprecations:
  • Deprecated date column custom date edit format. If this setting is configured a deprecation warning can be found in place of the column setting. This warning allows you to keep the setting for now or remove exiting configuration. Going forward, edit format is controled by the PBI General Date format / Measure format / System format.

Improvements
  • Power BI measure format now gets applied as grid format for measure
  • Implemented ad hoc Hierarchy filtering via a Right click context menu entry.
  • Backwards compatability patch for introduction of Schemaname field, has been removed. Schemaname will no longer be derived from tableName when formatted as Schemaname.tableName. Tablename syntax has not been changed.
  • Added PBI conditional formatting functionality to "Self-hosted API URL" field in Connection, allowing for a measure to be used.

  • Implemented a Measure index for Custom calculation (Measure), Allowing for setting the measure index among other measures, the index placement is done in the same order as is shown in the Calculation Overview.

  • Comments saving was changed some time ago to save the full given history of comments from a cell together. This has now been reverted to the original way of saving one comment per cell.

Locked Modules:

  • The lock/read-only state of a row now

This segment size can be set in PBI formatting panel under "Data Load" -> "Rows load size", Default is 1000

Multiple comment measures
AccoPLANNING now supports multiple comment measures, along with new configuration options for assigning them to specific measures.
The following changes has been made to accomedate this:
1) Removed measure limit from comment measure well.
2) Implemented configuration tab in Comment formatting settings with the following options,
- "Comment to configure" the selected comment to apply bellow options for.
- "Measure to display on" the measure to assign the above selection to.
- "Type" What type of measure the above selection should be treated as.
Type definitions:
(Writeback): Writeback target for comments, is not shown in grid.
(Comment): Comments are display and saved on if no writeback measure.
(Metadata): Metadata is shown as context information on comments.
New comment Writeback priority order for comments:
(1: specific + writeback)
(2: specific + comment)
(3: allMeasures + writeback)
(4: allMeasures + comment)`
3) Defaults are set to continue support for old single comment measure solutions
(by default all measures are assigned to "All Measures", and last measure in well is considered type "Comment" with rest as "Metadata")
